Leadership, Change, and Understanding Insights Gleaned from Personality Studies of EducatorsMarist College
Marist College The current educational reform movement calls for educators and leaders to move toward a new vision as they strive to become more effective educators. The current restructuring effort requires that educators accept and adapt to changes within the education system. This necessity may fail, as an inherent personality type common among teachers seems resistant to the implementation of change within their classrooms. Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the current study investigates different personality typologies within the educational reform movement, and the roles these personality types may play in the resultant success of the present restructuring effort.
